Media Referral - September 10, 2005

We had another person call in from a commercial they had seen on TV.  We went to the church this morning and met with Fanny Brown.  She had called in for a Finding Faith in Christ and immediately started asking about getting baptized and wanted to know what was necessary for her to be ready for this.  Such a great lesson we had with her and she wants to meet with us again tomorrow!  After we went to the old folks home to go see the Walker's.  Such a good guy and he has the "giant pants" now and although he wasn't able to make it today, he is all set for church next week.  Highlight of the day was that we had to teach a 45 minute lesson on keeping the sabbath day holy at church.  No prep, no problem.  The normal teacher gave us 5 minutes notice that they couldn't teach today, but all good.  We rolled with it though and had a very interactive and good lesson.  After church Brother Hardee took us over for lunch and it was awesome.  He came out with us to a lesson after and he may be the coolest people ever.  Tonight we also had a dinner with the Washburn's.  They called mom and dad after and told them how much I had helped them and how I was the best missionary they had ever met.  Definitely not true, but so nice of them to do!  I am feeling it right now and love it here in North Carolina!
