Rainy Days in North Carolina - September 7, 2005

Although it rained like crazy, today was actually a great day!  Today we had district leader exchanges and I got to go with Elder Perry.  We rode 16 miles and met two really cool people in just two hours.  We had a good times and taught really well together.  It felt great to come back after working that hard.  Always good times in Rocky Mount.  The day also highlighted us in the morning picking up pine cones for an older man in the ward.  He cooked us each up a really good burger after to show appreciation.  People are seriously so nice here!  We then had the heaviest dinner ever with the Battle's.  Gardner's BBQ is so good.  Soul food is becoming an almost daily occurrence and it is making my skin so greasy!  Really good though, so probably worth all the grease.  We had ward council at night and Bishop praised the work we have been doing and said the ward is noticing what we are doing and it's getting contagious.  Good times in the Rock!
